Customer Recommendations are Big Business for Family-Owned Carpet Cleaning Company
Jeff Dunn has all the right moves when advertising his carpet cleaning business. You’ll find Dunn-Right Custom Carpet Cleaning in the yellow pages and newspaper ads, and chances are, you’ve seen his spiffy van in town or in your neighborhood. But Dunn says the best way he’s found to get his name and his company’s good reputation out there is to continue to do an excellent job, and to let good, old-fashioned word-of-mouth do the rest.
Wadsworth’s Lisa Sidol is a good example. When she and some friends were talking last spring, she mentioned her carpets needed cleaning. One friend told her that she had used Dunn-Right for several years now and wouldn’t use anyone else. “She said she was initially just happy to be supporting a local business,” Sidol recalls, “but then the results were so good, she said she would never try or recommend anyone else.”
